“At one magical instant in your early childhood, the page of a book—that string of confused, alien ciphers—shivered into meaning. Words spoke to you, gave up their secrets; at that moment, whole universes opened. You became, irrevocably, a reader.” –Alberto Manguel

The Missing Piece

Hey.. Peeps.. :) No matter who you are and how you look like, there is always someone who is crazy about you despite the fact that he is aware of your flaws. Just feel blessed. Life is unpredictable, so for a while keep your reminders, calendars and alarms aside. Offer yourself a time away from such fanatic urban lifestyle.

People say when you think of someone, somebody else is thinking of you and these two people may or may not be same. Though the worst case is when you think of someone and they don’t give a damn, like for them you do not exist and you become an object occupying space. But one thing is certain, for someone you are so special like that missing puzzle piece that may complete their picture.

Tempted to know about my missing piece? Actually, I have so many pieces missing. I mean, I want all my dreams to come true and there is a huge list. I am complete as a picture, just some part of it is yet to be colored  Life is not that bad, no matter how bad it seems to be. There is always something that inspires you to fight back for all your problems.

So next time you feel like you are nobody, tell yourself that there is somebody for whom you are fuckin’ perfect. Remember this song: Fuckin’ Perfect by P!NK? A verse of it goes like: Pretty, pretty please, don't you ever, ever feel. Like you're less than fucking perfect. Pretty, pretty please, if you ever, ever feel like you're nothing, you're fucking perfect to me.. ♫ ♪ Signing out.. may God bless y’all.. :)

Every Time You Fall

Pick yourself up;
fix your bleeding knees,
wipe away your tears;
look up for opportunities.

Even if you fall again;
fix your stumbled feet,
elbow out your fear;
begin again and repeat.

Every time you fall;
ignore the people tease,
set your sight on the goal;
let your insecurities release.

Take your steps ahead;
the goal is not so far,
don’t waste time looking back;
just believe in who you are.

Cross every hurdle with hope;
there’s less left to go,
make your faith stronger;
more than you ever know.

Every time you fall;
give a damn to your pain,
its all about blood sweat and tears;
give yourself a chance to try again.

About Me

If you’ll ask me how is life?
I’ll say everything is just fine;
though there is something to be fixed,
something, I just cannot define.

If you wanna know what it takes to be me?
just walk into my shoes down the lane of memory;
read those torn pages wrapped in blues,
all about my ecstasy to win and fears to lose.

All the pain hidden under the scars;
that resides still silent in my core,
this is a small piece about me;
though there is so much, more.

I am a missing puzzle piece;
of a picture to make complete,
or may be am an incomplete picture;
with which nobody can relate.

I cannot define myself;
and I guess nobody can,
‘cause I am still looking for;
what the hell is my plan?

I am trying searching my existence;
all about what when and how?
this is a brief about me;
I wanted y’all to know.

Tacit Addiction

Hey.. Peeps.. :) If I gotta tell you what addiction is, I’d put it like this into words: You know that feeling deep inside that makes you feel like you can’t leave something, no matter how much you plan to get rid of it; you just can’t help it. You try being strict to yourself but at the end, your addiction overshadows your plans. You might not know if it’s good or bad, but it feels good for sure –that’s why you are addicted. And sometimes, addiction means a person you long for.

No am not addicted, or may be yes. All I can say is, I am addicted to something that may not exist or may be it exists in my imagination that keeps on adding up volumes like a bestseller novel. Everything is fine with addiction, its legal –the worst part is, you come to know about it when it has already happened to you and you are still trying to figure out when it happened.

I like this quote by Jean Cocteau: “Here I am trying to live, or rather, I am trying to teach the death within me how to live.” Did I mention like? Actually I love it. Sometimes addiction comes wrapped with passion, and gets transformed into obsession.

If you gotta get rid of addiction, you gotta get another one ready in line and that’s how the concept of addiction goes. Anyways, listening to Time In A Bottle by Jim Croce -nice song, which goes like: If I could save time in a bottle; the first thing that I'd like to do, is to save every day; till Eternity passes away, just to spend them with you.. ♫ ♪ Signing out.. may God bless y’all.. :)

When You Lose, Don’t Lose The Lesson

Hey.. Peeps.. :| Have you ever been through the feeling when you are out of breath that is accompanied by regret? If you are nodding your head in vertical, then am sure you must have felt that it’s really very expensive to afford that can burn out a hole in your pocket. Better have sorrows than having regrets, for you can dump all your sorrows to people and they will share. There are no buyers for regret, no sales person can sell it.

This morning I listened on a radio station that today Gemini people will have a pleasant day and it was just opposite, the day was actually horrible even a notch up. You know what, I can actually sue them for giving me false hope. Sometimes it really costs you a lot to get an experience and something you wish to forget but it will burn at the back of your mind.

I know one thing that I work on: When you lose, don’t lose the Lesson. Jonathan Franzen quoted: “It took hours to turn the clock back 30 seconds.” Cheers life, am ON. Signing out.. may God  bless y’all.. :)

A Thin Slice Of Me

Hey.. Peeps.. :) I personally feel that I am a different person when am in my room. All my day goes in meeting and dealing with people, all kind of –good people, irritating people, impatient people, bad people and any other category that exists. When I reach home I want to be alone, just content with loneliness. No people, it irritates me to find people around me.

I wish to turn off my phone, a single ring annoys me to the core and I feel like throwing it outside the window but I should get it back by morning. I hate noise –opening and closing of door, water falling from tap, somebody talking loudly over phone, even a tick of the clock is enough to annoy me. I strongly feel, people must be charged for talking in louder tone when they exceed standard range of decibels.

Most of the times I find myself worried about some stupid things that matter to me in hell lot of ways, it can be a piece of paper turned into airplane. I hate losing things, I hate stuffs messed up around me, I hate things jumbled up. I hate it when somebody says me that they will call me back but they never do, I hate it when someone stares into my screen when I type something, I hate to be  touched, hate to be compared.

I am one of a kind, very dreamy always involved in thinking. I think too much that sometimes I get confused whether I thought or I dreamt of something. I guess we all are perfect in an imperfect way, we have something special in common way, we all belong to same genus and we are just same available in different versions. Hey.. Peeps.. :) In this world that has become a big enterprise of machines; I find more of machines than humans. Companies are hiring robots, who are supposed to work emotionlessly with 100% efficiency under low power supply; looks like entire world has decided to work on the principle of machine.

We are boxed up in a glass room with another box called computers; of course it has contributed a lot towards civilization but has taken even more. Sometimes the hunger of getting something grows so much that we kinda ignore what we are losing in return. Remember the story: The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry? Yeah, it’s like that.

People do almost everything today, they are more mechanical but their soul is missing in whatever they do. I wonder what they do of their souls, I mean don’t they feel like putting all their heart in something they actually like to do. Why do they treat everything like a business deal?

If I gotta explain today’s world, I’d explain it as a market where we are sales executives or business development consultants involved in cold calling and lead generation; advertising to sell company products struggling to meet targets. Unfortunately machines cannot sell; they dunno how to bargain. If feelings could be available in markets as articles to buy; am sure their price tags would be much bigger than the article itself.

If not now then may be some other time you’ll need a human with feelings, with whom you can share your loses and challenges –for you cannot tell your loses and challenges to a machine. You cannot fall in love with a robot, how ‘bout romancing with a robot gazing into those digital eyes that resembles with a camera having a view of 360 degrees –sounds completely absurd.

We are humans made up of flesh with our hearts installed that is supposed to be a hub of feelings, don’t be a robot made up of metal stuffed with wires and switches that works on huge electrical power, computer programmes –controlled by a chip. Think!! Signing out.. may God bless y’all.. :)

Grown Old

In late seventies when bones refuse to support;
when eyes couldn't identify the object,
when most people plan their retirement;
I travel in flashback and regret.

All that time I've given to my children;
whom all my savings I’d spent on,
and loved them unconditionally;
that time has gone, long gone.

Now I've grown old;
with no more strength left,
they've left me alone to die;
with all my resources theft.

Grey hairs and missing teeth;
wrinkled face with eyes so deep,
fading memories that never sleep;
under which I hide and weep.

Looks like a nightmare came true;
and all I am left with is this stick,
on which I dare to walk my way;
with stumbled feet, so sick.

Now I've grown old;
with no more strength left,
they've left me alone to die;
with all my resources theft.

Use Pain

Hey.. Peeps.. :) I dunno, but I just wanted to ink my thoughts about pain. Hundreds of thoughts pass my mind –some turn out to be facebook status, some are saved as draft(s) in my cell phone, some my blog posts and some get lost in oblivion (this is when I long to go in the oblivion and get the words back).

The only thing we can do with pain is to use it. Most of the times, pain indicates the arrival of joy and its pain that makes us value things. Temped to know any example? –Waxing could be the one. LOL. Well, you cannot remember pain. It’s the scar that’s left behind as the legacy of it. Scar is legacy of pain.

If you have an ambiguity of what pain is all about, I will say: “Heavy feeling rising from the middle of your heart, which flows down your eyes. A huge lump in your throat, that makes you feel choked, that mute scream popping your heart out.” C. S. Lewis said –The pain I feel now is the happiness I had before. That's the deal.”

But, how to use pain? Think positive of pain. Like? Like –pain is the sign that you are alive. There are different perspectives of how people take pain as. I am not sure about the pain of flesh, but the pain that runs through heart is definitely experienced by all –and that’s the most common feeling, most familiar one.

It resides somewhere, and it visits us once. We welcome or not, it finds us –and knowingly or unknowingly lets us know the value of joy. It’s something that breaks you down to go on your knees, but it’s you who has to decide to get up and begin again or to lament for the pain and ask for empathy. One certain thing about pain is –it makes us learn something we missed or ignored. Signing out.. may God bless y’all.. :)
